It’s not every day you get to train with AFL legends, right? And how cool is it that Xavier, who was just drafted to Port Adelaide a mere 24 hours before, took the time to come hang out with us before jetting off to start his big AFL adventure this Sunday? Talk about dedication!

Hold onto your footy socks, because Wednesday was an absolute blast for the Knights U9 Girls Team! Our budding superstars had the thrill of a lifetime as they trained with none other than Mattea Breed from the Collingwood AFLW, and the legendary Eddie Betts! 🌟

The evening kicked off at Stanley Grove, where Mattea led a special one-hour training session that had our young athletes buzzing with excitement. She was amazing with the girls, sharing tips and tricks that had everyone on their toes—literally! Mattea’s passion and energy were contagious, inspiring our players to push their limits and have a ton of fun while doing it.

And let’s not forget Eddie Betts, who brought his legendary skills and a big dose of enthusiasm to the field. His presence was like adding the cherry on top of an already awesome day for our Knights! 🍒
